MDAC 2010 and Windows Updates 2020 RRS feed

  • Question

  • We are using MDAC 2010 to develop VB.NET applications to communicate with EXCEL and ACCESS files.

However, since early February 2020, after Windows 2010 updates listed below, MDAC 2010 is being corrupted and needs to be removed and reinstalled.

This has already occurred in the last 2 Windows updates. My version is Windows 10 Pro, version 1903.

The updates where this problem started are:

    - KB4537759

    - KB4534132

    - KB4532693

    - KB890830

    What should be done?

  • Hi,

Can you show us what the error has been desplayed?

Is the Access error: "Query is corrupt" or any others when attempting to run an Update query?

If so, you can check the document for more detailed.

If not, pleased feel free to connect us.

    Hope it be helpful.

    Best Regards,

    Julie
