Problem with Multi SubReport Report - Error after Successful Print RRS feed

  • Question

  • Please Help.

I have done number of the reports in Access but I am trying for the first time to make one with few subReports on it. When reports open in preview with the custom report printing menu (Image 1), I can print it just fine using print button of the menu.

Problem is that right after the printing is finished, reports does not shows back to the same preview with the menu etc. I see only currently open Access forms. When I maximize Access window I get on the screen like the attached Image2.

After I hit my shortcut ShiftF5, which runs my function to show menu, I get the menu back (Image 1) etc.

Image 3 shows the report in design view. I am using CanGrove CanShrink on the subform, but nothing special.

    Thanks for any help.

    Milan.

  • Hello MilanW,

According to your description, I think first image is Image 3(Design view) and third iamge is Image1(print view), right?

    >>Problem is that right after the printing is finished, reports does not shows back to the same preview with the menu etc. I see only currently open Access forms. When I maximize Access window I get on the screen like the attached Image2.

In my test, print view does not change after printing. I failed to understand what happened to image 2. Could you click the report in image 2? Will this make the report fit your screen?

Besides, what's your function to show menu? Is it a custom function? What's the access version? Could you please share a simply database file and detail the repro steps so we could try to reproduce your issue?

    Thanks for understanding,

    Best Regards,

    Terry
