  • Hello ,

    i have one server exchange 2010 ( hub + cas + mailbox)

    i have cisco router with 3 real ip + nat

    i have third party for filtering my email 

    i want all my outgoing and receiving mails go throw this third party 

    Questions :

    How i configure my external and internal DNs? mx , A records should to refer to....?

    How i configure my send and receive connector ?

  • You are posting in the wrong forum.  This forum is for people who write code, i.e., developers.  But I'll try to answer your queston anyway.

    For inbound mail, you don't have to do anything special with Exchange since it won't be getting the mail first.  Just point your MX record to the third party and tell your third party to send the mail to your Exchange server.  If you haven't done so already, you have to add anonymous access right to your receive connector since your third party probably doesn't authenticate, but that should be all.

    For outbound mail, configure a send connector with an address space of "*" (without the quotes) and a smart host with the name or IP address of the third party.  If you already have a send connector with that address space, change it to use the smart host.
