How to access Session Values in multiple web application RRS feed

    Hi,

    I have 2 web applications in same solution. Application A and Application B.

    User will log in into Application A and there is one link button available in Application A. When User clicks on that link Button , user will be redirected to Application B.

    When user is redirected to Application B , it should Use the same session value present in Application A. Session Mode of Application A is InProc.

    How Application B can access session values of Application A without any change in Application A code. 

    Also what are the other approach for the same.

    You don't -- session is scoped to the appdomain/application in IIS.

    You can't accomplish this with SessionState mode in "InProc". Instead use SQL state server.

    Hi Shaeem,

    As for this issue, I don't think we are able to transfer data from one to another using the Session. But you can try to use URL parameters or cookies. Here are some relevant articles you could refer to them.
