  • Thank you KB but when I use the URL in the browser, it returns me HTTP 400 (Bad Request).... But you feel is an invalid URL for an EWS right?

  • When I click on I get challenged by the server for username and password.  Do I know it is the correct URL for EWS? No I can only assume it may be the correct link.  However, if you are able to log in with a username and password then perhps it is not the correct link.  Here is what I can tell you, by default the EWS site is installed to a virtula directory /EWS on the Exchange server.  Within that directory the default service URL is /EWS/Exchange.asmx.  Therefore if it does not work, then the server admin needs to tell you where the EWS Service URL is.

  • Thank you KB, your assumptions seems right. I am able to login to the outlook webaccess using the login name and password. So it can't be the EWS URL right? I am unable to convince the customer!. Let me try ask him for the URL to "Exchange.asmx". After all, for every EWS, the "Exchange.asmx" should be there right?

  • By default Exchange installs a virtual directory on the default web site within IIS named EWS.  Inside that folder should be Exchange.asmx.

But it has to be enabled, etc.  The server admin will have to communicate with you on what domain will direct you to the correct location.
