  • How to delete the ncpa.cpl in windows XP ?

    Hi,

Why do you want to delete that?

You can open the following dir: C:\Windows\System32\ and find it there, just right-click on it
    and choose "Delete".

If you just want to remove it from the Control Panel, then download the Tweak UI program by Microsoft for Windows(R) XP,
you can download it direct from here.

    I hope this helps...

    Have a nice day...

    Best regards,

  • Hi,

ncpa.cpl brings up the "NETWORK CONNECTIONS" snap-in when typed in the RUN command. This snap-in is used to create and manage the various network related aspects of the machine. This lists down all the connectivity options present on the machine (Ethernet, Wireless, VPN..etc)

It is not advisable to delete this as this may result in not being able to administer the  Windows Network connections.
