§20.1.10.30 ST_LightRigType: How to obtain concrete numeric parameters exactly describing each preset light rig type? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

That paragraph describes all possible values for the attribute "rig" of DrawingML element "lightRig". Once again, those descriptions contain sample bitmap images instead of concrete numeric values. The mathematical model of "lightRig" effect remains unclear. The question is: How to obtain concrete numeric parameters exactly describing each preset light rig type?

  • Hi Aleksey,

The values and algorithms used by Word in rendering these objects are out-of-scope for the standard. The pictures demonstrate a group of lights oriented in a specific way relative to a 3D scene.
