New User Access Form - Using Sharepoint, Nintex and Infopath RRS feed

    I am in the process of creating a 'new user' access form for our HR department.

    The form prompts for the following to be entered: Firstname, Middle Name/Initial, Surname, Ph Number, Mobile Number, Company Name, Address, Email Address, and Expiry date of account.

    I want the form the automatically create the user ID based on our naming conventions. For example - if John Smith was created his user ID would be 'smijo'. The first 3 letters of the user's firstname combined with the second 2 letters of their surname.

    Does anyone know if this is possible? It would need to also query Active Directory and check if that current User ID does or doesn't exist.
