The specified domain or server could not be contacted RRS feed

I built a website that uses a Login control with Forms authentication, and an ActiveDirectory MembershipProvider.

The website worked fine on the development computer(Web Developer Express 2008).  After moving it over to the new web server(Web Server 2008), the Login page comes up with the error The specified domain or server could not be contacted, after trying to login.

The website loads up, and connects to the local database file, but errors with anything trying to use the LDAP server.  I've been told the LDAP ports are open.

I thing this is a IIS setting problem.  This is a new web server with basic default settings(IIS 7).

Do you know of any IIS settings that might be causing this error?

Ok, it turned out to be a firewall/network issue.  SHOCKER :)
