  • Hi Praful,

    Please find the Web.config file under: <Drive>:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\110\Master Data Services\WebApplication\web.config

Then, please set the  "enableViewStateMac" element value to "False" to see if this help.

Please remember to backup the web.config before modify it.

  • Hello

I have exactly the same issue. Setting "enableViewStateMac" to false has not helped.

  • Update

Assuming that MDS was installed without all the pre-requisites being in place, that they have been subsequently added, and that any internal server errors listed here have been fixed as part of the config of MDS, it is not necessary to edit the web.config file.

The solution is to completely uninstall MDS and then reinstall it. It doesn't play nicely if you add the various missing role services after you've installed it.
