    How can I add custom code to copy data between to tables after the user makes a selection from a FK dropdown list.

    Hi jjfrick, I would look at using a custom page to do this and possibly a custom field template, then during the data source Inserting/Updating event I would do you copy of data. you could try doing this in field templates but if the number of fields more than 1 or two it woudl get too complicated.

    Hi Jjfrick, are you talking about the Edit/Insert page or the List page?

    Hi Steve,

    Edit/Insert.  What I want to do is... once the user selects an item from the FK list, that ID will be referenced to copy items from that table to the current table the form pertains to. (like default items pertaining to the selected configuration) occasionally the items may be changed, but we start with a basic configuration of items. 

    Would I add code to the ForeignKey control filter control? Should I use a stored procedure?

    Hello,

    You have to make a customized control to deal with the problem——Because in conventional controls nested and published to the public,I cannot find such a control that can "Copy" data……
