Using of Third Party software on azure vms RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

We are using azure Pay-As-You-Go Subscription

I need some of my Licensed third party software (like MS Office & Auto Cad etc.,) to be installed on one of my azure VM (server 2012 r2 datacentre)

Is there any restriction on using of third party software azure vms?

    Thanks
    Nihal

  • Hi Nihal,

Thank you for contacting us on Azure forums!

As long as the software you are installing is licensed, you're free to install them  on Azure VM.

    Best Regards

  • Yes, you can do that.
Even I am using ANSYS and Catia on Azure VM.

If you want to know the steps on how to do it, then do ask. I will give a detailed answer to that.
