Azure Websites error 500 due to https:// in path RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

    Our website http://myorthoevidence.com hosted on Azure got 500.19 error when the path contains https:<g class="gr_ gr_299 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Style multiReplace" data-gr-id="299" id="299">// .</g>

    For example, http://<websitename>/app/https://asdf

    According to the research I did on this forum, we are already on SNI SSL and the problem with <g class="gr_ gr_511 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Grammar only-ins doubleReplace replaceWithoutSep" data-gr-id="511" id="511">colon</g> in the <g class="gr_ gr_460 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling ins-del multiReplace" data-gr-id="460" id="460">url</g> should have been fixed back in 2015.

The fact that we are getting warnings about server error that comes from this is annoying.  And yes, I have tried locally, which only gives me 404 which would be the desired behavior (or Bad Request): the problem only happens when hosted on Azure.

    BTW, the request <g class="gr_ gr_957 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling ins-del multiReplace" data-gr-id="957" id="957">url</g> is not a good one, but we certainly do not want to get <g class="gr_ gr_1039 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Grammar only-ins doubleReplace replaceWithoutSep" data-gr-id="1039" id="1039">server</g> error on random hits.

    Thanks.

    Ray
