  • Hi Jeff24bit,

    Thanks for your post.

    Some clarification with you:

    ·         Do you download and install .NET Framework and Power Packs from the site http://www.pagewunder.com/? If so, I suggest you down load these from Microsoft site and install them again.

    ·         You mentioned an error comes up about GAC stdole, would you please provide more information about the error? Have this error exists now?

    ·         You asks “how you get your name in the Publisher section of the initial setup screen”, is this means Publisher section like below?

According to your description, seems there are some problems with the installation of .NET Framework and Power Packs. That’s why you get an error and after install Visual Basic Express, the error disappear.

For the Publisher name question, you can consider contact http://www.pagewunder.com/ for help.

  • I do have the installation issue worked out, I just removed the stdole refrence from the project as it wasnt used anyway. With the publish section that is what I am talking about. I am unsure on what you mean by to contact my website for help. I am developing with VBexpress and I am unsure on how to get the publisher infromation to display my companies name, is there a setting in VbExpress that will allow me to populate the Publisher Information when I compile the project?

  • Hi Jeff,

Glad to hear your have resolved the installation issue.

So, if I understand right, the website and software is created by you. In this case, for the publisher section question, you can consider open a new post in the ClickOnce and Setup & Deployment Projects Forum. There are more setup project experts in that forum.

    Thanks for your understanding.
