    hi friends, This message occurs when I'm Inserting information

    Databinding methods such as Eval(), XPath(), and Bind() can only be used in the context of a databound control.

    My issue was resolved.

    protected void DetailsView3_ItemInserted(object sender, DetailsViewInsertedEventArgs e)
        {
            Response.Redirect("Default.aspx");
        }

    It means you are trying to use Eval, Bind, or XPath outside of a databound control such as a GridView or DataList etc... You may only use those INSIDE of one of those controls.

    Hi,

    U can use these controls only inside labels,textboxes,etc....

    It cannot be used outside..

    Chk for that..

    If u still get the error send the coding..
