If TTL elapses on a queue message is there anyway to recover it?? RRS feed

  • Question

  • As above, I think a number of messages have expired and while the queue count states that they exist, when querying the queue they are not available...is there anyway to recover these messages?

  • Hi andysharpcloud,

The method CloudQueue.RetrieveApproximateMessageCount() doesn't return precise messages number. Based on my understanding, azure queue doesn't expose any function to query the expired message.

  • Thanks Mog, that's what I thought would be the case.
