KinectFusion with Unity3d RRS feed

  • Hi,

    I'd like to know if it's possible to access the KinectFusion library found in the Kinect SDK through the Unity Pro Plugin?

  • Fusion is not available as a plug-in for Unity, but you can certainly create your own wrapper and expose that type of functionality if you need it. The team is aware of the request, but no announcements have been made.

  • Thanks for the heads up, I'll probably give that a try. A silly question though, the C# API already exists as part of the SDK. Can I not just use this in unity? Or does it rely on .NET 4?

  • More than likely no since Unity is using Mono, not Microsoft .Net. You can use Mono Migration Analyzer (MoMA) tool provided by Mono project to see where it would fail:
