  • Using VS 2013 and VB.Net can anyone tell me how to open programmatically, the "Format Picture" task pane?

    According to your description, if you want to launch built-in task panes, you could refer to below code:

    Application.TaskPanes.Item(wdTaskPaneFormatting).Visible = True

    but it seems that there isn't a way to display the Format Picture task pane via VBA. If you look in the Object Browser (of the Visual Basic Editor), you'll see that there is no wdTaskPanes constant defined that corresponds to Format Picture. So I suggest that you could submit feedback to Office:
