Augmented Reality using the Kinect SDK RRS feed

  • Has anybody devised a method; or what do people feel are the best ways of achieving augmented reality with the standard camera in the microsoft kinect, using the kinect sdk?

    Sorry about the English mistakes in my text.
    And maybe my concept is low-level...

    I've tried to find the method to achieve augmented reality with kinect, too.
    I think it is one method to achieve augmented reality that large distance change with a certain level of area is the signal to display something in window.
    So I made an application to work out my concept.
    This is the my Blog's URL which my demo video is appered on.
    But I'm afraid my Blog is only written by Japanese...

  • I guess you could mount the Kinect to a set of LCD goggle but sounds a bit clunky? Good part is you don't need to use marker detection, the depth sensor would let you render some interesting content, skeleton recog would be cool for people.

    What about mounting a laser projector to the kinect and taking it mobile? Project onto surfaces in view?
