Visio 2003 for Ent Arch - Database model diagram painting bug RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm using Visio 2003 for Enterprise Architects (11.8161.8172 SP3) for editing a largish (60+ tables) Database model diagram.

Frequently visio paints the tables with all columns names bold and underlined.  If I go and make a slight change to the table (like adding and removeing a charachter from a column name) the table is painted correctly.  When I add a new table it is painted correctly.

After a few edits to diagram, the painting bug effects all tables on the diagram.

Anyone have an idea how to work around this.  Before I print the diagram I have to do dummy edits to each table to produce the correct painting.

Here is a link to a picture that shows the bug - image A has the bug, image B is without the bug.

  • Hi Ed,

No solution yet, I've just put up with the bug for the last 2 years.
