Application developed in VS2015 - .NET 4.5.2 will be compatible with VS2012 4.5.2 and VS2012 4.5.1 ??? RRS feed

  • I have one Application developed in VS2015 - .NET 4.5.2.

    will this be compatible with VS2012 4.5.2 and VS2012 4.5.1 ?

    Meaning the solution would open without any compile error ?

    Under normal conditions, it works will with VS 2012 4.5.2. But with 4.5.1, there could be forward compatibility problem. Basically, the project is backward-compatible but not upward-compatible.
