How to lock tables in an Access database through OleDb? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi, I'm working with Visual Studio 2008, .NET Framework 3.5, and Office 2003. I'd like to lock the tables in an Access database, but can't find the way to do so through OleDb.

My common sense tells me that being Access a desktop application, there's no server that manages the transactions, so there's no control over who read/writes to the database. Is this correct?

    Thanks in advance,
