Accessing Azure Data Lake Store files from Azure SQL

    Question

  • Hi,

I have json files in my Azure Data Lake Store.I have to convert those json files into sql databases in Azure. I am thinking of using Openjson in sql. I am having few issues with this process.

1.What could be the easiest way of doing it?

2.How could i access Data Lake Store files from Azure SQL?

3.Are there better storage (than Azure Data Lake Store) in Azure to store json files and access them from Azure SQL?

    Any suggestions/help would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

  • Hi ChetanSK ,

    Adding to what Vairavan suggested:

    1. What could be the easiest way of doing it?
    2. How could i access Data Lake Store files from Azure SQL?

I'll give you some options to check:

    1. Are there better storage (than Azure Data Lake Store) in Azure to store json files and access them from Azure SQL?

It's hard to tell you which one is better it really depends on your use case. Here you could evaluate these options:
