I suggest to fetch data from back end in two columns and design the layout like you wanted in RDLC rather than splitting a column into two column at RDLC level.

    Hi RamThilak,

if you mean that currently your report is printing one column in report and you want to display the 2 columns then you can try to set the 'Columns' property of Report.

    Output:

    RDLC Report Columns property

    Regards

    Deepak

Is it possible to order the results vertically rather than horizontally?

Did you check the default output after specifying columns? The default repeat direction is vertical as far as I know. In case, if you would like to refer this related thread: Column repeat direction in Microsoft report viewer
