VBA : Project information in Resource Usage view (Project Standard 2010) RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

How can I display a project piece of information such as project name in a custom column inserted in the Resource Usage view (2010). I expect to do that with VBA.

    Thanks

  • Hi,

Have a look at the FAQ #37:

  • WLID1966,

Gerard's suggestion is a good one but the Project field is already available in the Resource Usage view. All you need to do is to add it as a column. A couple other task type fields your might be interested in are: Task Outline Number and Task Summary Name. You can see the whole list of what fields are available by scrolling through the pop-up list when you insert a column.

  • John,

Good point for the project name! But I need to catch some other information from the "Properties" dialog, so the VBA sub will be usefull.

    Thanks
