News_Edit.aspx page and HTML Markup RRS feed

I have a question regarding the News_Edit.aspx page. I notice that if I enter an article with multiple paragraphs in the Description textbox, when the Description information is displayed in the Repeater control on the Home page (for example), the seperate paragraphs all run together as a single block of text. The Club database obviously isn't storing any kind of HTML markup.

Is it assumed that the person entering the Description text will include any required HTML markup in-line in articles entered in the DB? Or is it best to run the input through Server.Htmlencode, though I guess that would store markupi n the DB which would then appear in the article in edit mode.

Just wondering how this feature is handled in this type of application. Is there a "best practice" of some sort.

    Thanks for any thoughts.

Most people are replacing the testboxes with either FreeTextBox or FCKEditor, both of which have free versions and nice features.
