  • "Bing map" does not work correctly with Windows Store App.

    <map:Map Culture="ko-KR" HomeRegion="South Korea" Credentials="{StaticResource BingMapsApiKey}"/>

    When you run the app, such as images and no function does not work.

  • A couple of issues. First you are using an unsupported culture code. For Korean use "ko" instead of "ko-KR". This is documented here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn306047.aspx

    The HomeRegion should be a 2 letter country code and not the full name of a country.

    All that said, these values both automatically set themselves to the users device settings. The only time you would need to set the culture and home region is if the user is in a region that isn't supported. This will result in the image you are seeing. In which case you can set the culture to en-US and the home region to US and the map will then become active. A list of unsupported regions can be found here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj670541.aspx
