For emulating Azure Stack on Azure, using a policy? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a question from my colleagues who wish to use Public Azure to emulate same set of service as with AzS.

According to the presentation here, Charles Joy, https://youtu.be/dbVWDrl00MM?t=10m30s

"Using Azure Service, Apply Azure policies ..."

On the left there is an option to do just that. But I'm unable to find any information on which polices and how to configure them where. Does anyone have any information what to do to emulate the same level?

  • Hello Jon,

The policy to emulate Azure Stack in public Azure is located here:

    https://github.com/Azure/AzureStack-Tools/tree/master/Policy

NOTE: Make sure to leverage resource group and not the entire subscription when enabling this policy.
