Calling HTTPS service from local machine RRS feed

  • Question

  • What is the best practise for calling WCF service with HTTPS from local machine. WCF service has forms authentication which expects auth token. Below are my bindings for client but it doesn't seem to work. WCF service has the same binding (Security mode is Transport and wsHttpBinding)

    <binding name="WSHttpBinding_IRep">
              <security mode="Transport">
    <endpoint address="https://Domain/Service.svc" binding="wsHttpBinding" bindingConfiguration="WSHttpBinding_IRep" contract="RepSvc.IRep" name="WSHttpBinding_IRep"/>

    Do you meet any errors or exceptions? It will be better if you can share the detailed information about the errors/exceptions and service config file in here.

    Besides, the following article has showed us how to call the Https WCF Services with the wsHttpBinding, please try to refer to: .
