Configuring # of documents displayed per page RRS feed

  • Question

  • In SharePoint 2007, I want to change configuration for documents displayed per page (1-10, 1-20 or leave it show all). So from the dropdown menu the user can select 1-10, 1-20, or show all. Where do I make the configuration change.

  • There's no out of the box feature for this. The library will show according to the "Item Limit" set in your view. By default, it's 100. If you have more items than the specified limit, then at the top right corner of the library (near the view menu), there'll be a link to navigate to next/previous pages.

  • You can do this with a web part view in another page by converting it to a Data View Web part using SharePoint Designer 2007.
