Toast notification RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I'd like to change the toast notification sound but I read that it isn't possible.

What I'd like to know is if it's possible to automatically open an app when a toast is received (without click on it).

My problem is that I'm developing an app, using push notification, but the volume is too low, I can't hear it.

    Do you have any idea?

  • Hi,

There is no workaround for that. Its default behavior of Windows Phone That User Have To Tap On Toast notification for launching the app. Otherwise app will not be initiated automatically from ToastNotification.

  • If your app is in the foreground when the Toast comes in it can execute code; however, even in this case I'm not sure you could achieve your goal since applications cannot modify the system volume setting.
