Conditional Formatting (CF) for due dates RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a colunm of due dates for several projects. I wish to apply a CF that will tell me if the date is:

        within 30days-Red,    >30 but less than 45days-Orange, >45 but less than 60days-

        Blue, etc. How would I set this up.

    Note; I did the 1st part as =(R54-TODAY())<30, then tried to apply the 45 & 60 in a simular manner, but there was no change for the higher two time-frames.

Answers

  • Use the Between values in Conditional Formatting.

    I have tested this and it seems to work fine:

    Make sure you have the right Column selected for the Due dates.

    Then the conditions will be set like this for example:

    Between TODAY() and TODAY()-29

    Between TODAY()-30 and TODAY()-44

    Between TODAY()-45 and TODAY()-60

    Then choose the different color for each condition.

    Hope this helps,
