Open blob Uri in browser - 404, but I can open it from VS RRS feed

  • Question

  • First, posted it in Azure Development but here it's more relevant...

I use Azure emulator (SDK v1.6 for .NET) and I have images in blob. I can open them from Visual Studio. But when I run my website (again, locally) I can't get those images. Here's the link:

    http://127.0.0.1:10000/devstoreaccount1/devphotos/photo/5516c0e0-7ae2-401a-8617-ac09a2c1cac3/image.jpg

devphotos is my container, and 'photo/5516c0e0-7ae2-401a-8617-ac09a2c1cac3/image.jpg' is the object name. Content type is image/jpeg and permissions are public (PublicAccess = BlobContainerPublicAccessType.Blob).

WHY it does not open in the browser?

  • I found the problem - at some point in my code I move blob from one container to another. But this other container is created with default permissions which is private.
