Problem with SDKBrowser RRS feed

  • Question

  • Please help!

    I have tried downloading the SDK again but with the same result. Any advice??

    When attempting to open the SDKBrowser it wont work!

    It was working fine yesterday but now nothing happens

    The following appears as a folder

    AppCrash_SDKBrowser.exe_1333c305de0385290fa8940e3b211ec5f128a_51f88f30_0ec86bde

    There are now a number of these with a different last eight digits

    Inside each folder is a report.wer

    The file contains the following code

    Version=1
    EventType=CLR20r3

  • I noticed the path to the SDKBrowser is not the standard folder(AppPath=C:\Users\Rupert\Desktop\SDKBrowser.exe). Can you run the one from the SDK folder and get a different result("C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Kinect\v2.0_1409\Tools\SDKBrowser\SDKBrowser.exe")

  • Hi Carmine,

    I have tried to follow the above file path and it appears that the SDKBrowser is no longer in this folder.

    I have tried to download it again and, whilst the download appears to be successful, the .exe file does not reappear. I think i may have affected the programme by trying to send the shortcut to my desktop. Hence the non-standard file path above (C:\Users\Rupert\Desktop\SDKBrowser.exe).

    Should i delete the it all and try downloading again or copy and paste the file back into the original folder - C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Kinect\v2.0_1409\Tools\SDKBrowser

    Many Thanks in advance for your support
