Visual Studio 2015 crash on Citrix environment

  • Hi Team,

    We have a Visual Studio 2015 setup on Citrix environment for remote application development. Often team is facing the VS crash issue.

    Please let us know the cause and remediation for this issue. Below is the brief description from the log.

  • Hi U_Kad,

    According to the log, there doesn't have any valuable information for this problem. Please try with following steps to troubleshoot this issue.

    1. Please check whether your Visual Studio has installed the latest update. If not, please download and install from this link.
    2. Run your Visual Studio in safe mode to prevents all third-party VSPackages from loading when Visual Studio starts, thus ensuring stable execution.
    3. Close all third part software when running Visual Studio, such as antivirus software.
    4. Reset\Repair your Visual Studio.

    Then please try debug your Visual Studio with itself with following article's guidance to find out what happened. This article is introduce the VS2008 debug with itself, but it should also can be applied to VS2015.
