Valid certifications

Question
-
Hello
I certified as a MCSE, MCP & MCP+I in 1999 and since have done no further exams(not Microsoft anyway). I'm pretty sure all of my certifications have expired but someone told me my MCP is still valid. Is there a way I can tell if my MCP is still valid? The reason is i'm setting up a business on my own and it could be useful to include the logo on my business card. My certifications are still seen on the link here https://mcp.microsoft.com/authenticate/validatemcp.aspx but that just shows the exams I took and not what is valid now.
Thanks for the info in advance.

Hi Martyn,
Your certifications are still valid, when the exam retires you can no longer sit the exam but you will still be reconised for you achievement.
For more information have a look at the Microsoft Discontinued exams here:

You can use the MCSE title as you still have it, albeit limited to NT.
Since the older generation of exams (such as MCP,MCSE, MCSE et al) dont retire you can still use them. Since they are not branded in the logos as version specific people will not know from your business card whether it is NT 3.51, 4, 2000 or 2003.

Hi Jarad
Thanks for the reply, going by what you have said and the link I can still use the MCSE logo albeit it was on NT, is that right? Sorry for wanting to nail this down but I'm about to order my business cards.
