SQL Datawarehouse size on Azure Portal RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

We would like to understand the steps or process to identify the below:

    1. Database size allocated for SQL Datawarehouse on Azure Portal.

    2. Change the allocated size for SQL Datawarehouse from Azure Portal.

    3. As per the pricing model observed on the Microsoft site observed that the charges are based on TBs. In case if our usage grow from MB to GB to TB, how it is charged in that case?

    Regards

    1. You don't actually allocate the size, it's based on storage used and grows as needed.

    2. Since it's based on storage used you don't have to worry about allocating the size.

    3. The smallest increment you will be billed is for 1 TB of storage.
