Convert doc-files to sql report 2008 rdl-files

Question

Hi, I am trying to find a way to convert doc file to rdl file.

anyone knows how to achieve that ?

There is no possibility of converting an Word document into a .RDL.

by the way, can i know whats in doc you want to convert to RDL?

Do you have .rdl -xml structure? What exactly your file contains?

I got several 30 pages doc file as my report sample, what I need to do is to create those reports in sql 2008 using reporting service.

Thought it will save a lot of time if there is some way to convert it from .doc to .rdl.

Hi Sonia,

If  i understand you correctly ..You have got the Report layout in a word  Document  and you want the same Layout in your Reports by doing a copy,paste and create RDL.

 

Unfortunely that s not an option.
