The depth image in depth only mode is left-right flipped RRS feed

  • Question

  • I got the 640*480 depth image in the depth only mode without the player index. And found that the the image was left-right flipped. It means that the objects in the left of the rgb image will be in the right of the depth image. But the depth image with player index and resolution 320*240 was correct.

Does this mean I have to flip the depth image by myself in the depth only mode with resolution 640*480?

Answers

  • Yes, that is true. depth-only image stream is left-right mirrored vs the other streams and you'd have to flip it yourself if you need to match it with other images.

    Sorry for the inconvenience.
