SharePoint ULS not working due to not enough free disk space RRS feed

    I am using SharePoint Foundation 2010, 64GB RAM on both WFE and APP server. I have a problem on SharePoint ULS.

    I am encountering the following error:

    Not enough free disk space available even if all inactive log files are deleted. The tracing service has temporarily stopped outputting trace messages to the log file. Tracing will resume when more than 1124 MB of disk space becomes available

    This happens in SharePoint Logging and I can see that there were no logs generated after that error message. 

    However, upon checking the disk space, I found out my E: disk space is 5GB free of 10GB. Why is this error still occurring?

    I had set "Restrict Trace Log disk space usage" up to 3GB in CA and now the problem solved. If I wan to increase the "Restrict Trace Log disk space usage" up to 10GB, how large the capacity of hard disk should I have? My E: drive need set to 30GB or more?
