  • The .toolbox appears to be back but in a new location  ... I only found it by mistakenly clicking a saved favorite.

So if anyone is interested.... it is a great learning tool for Blend.

The gallery is still there but will not be after today.  You have to move your samples to the MSDN or VisualStudio Galleries.  See Martin's post here... http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/blend/thread/bed7ce6f-3d0a-4018-9180-5c05a905ddd4

It includes a copy of an email he had gotten about the Gallery closing.

    And the Gallery... http://gallery.expression.microsoft.com/

I actually managed to find all the downloads for the .toolbox.  By going to the Download Center and doing a search for ".toolbox assets, guide and videos" it will bring up all the downloads for the lessons.

So my friend can start learning, just not get all the points and tests that went along with the lessons.
