WCF-SAP adapter missing under Paltform Settings/Adpter RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

The current system I am using , I can see BizTalk SAP adapter pack installed but I can't see this WCF-Adapter comes under Platform/Adapter list on BizTalk adoim console.

Is there any trouble shooting mechanism I can use to see why this is happening?  I checked the machine.config file . But I can see sap binding has been added.

Your help on this much appreciated

  • Hi Nandilka,

By default when you install the BizTalk Server adapter pack 2010 the adapters are installed but not configured.

So, inside BizTalk Server Administration console, you need to go to “Platform Settings à Adapters” and Add “New à Adapter”:

If WCF-SAP Adapter is missing, then something is wrong with the installation.

    This should solve your problem.

  • Have your tried to right click on the adapter in the Plaform/Adapter list and add new adapter?

  • Yes Bill. I can see all other WCF Adpters (WCF-SQL, WCF-OracleDB) but WCF-SAP. I can see SAP bindings under WCF-Custome adapter.

  • Please verify if SAP related feature are installed on the server. This is the only installation required for SAP adapter.

If evrything is installed as per above, and still you are seeing same behavior , repair Biztalk adapter pack.
