  • Hi Alan,

    When a mirroring failover happens, we can configure that there is also a failover in the replication. To accomplish this, the agent profiles for all replication agents must have the –PublisherFailoverPartner set. You can use one of the following methods to set the PublisherFailoverPartner. In this way, replication agents can failover to the mirror set in the failover partner parameter, the agent status in the monitor will resume the running state which can ensure that replication works.

     a. Modify agent profile to change the “PublisherFailoverPartner” property, using Distributor properties dialog box.

     b. Modify agent profile to change the “PublisherFailoverPartner” property, using the sp_add_agent_parameter procedure.
