Visio Studio Community for education use? Licence without needing to login everytime

    Question

  • I have a question... from an educators perspective we have no need for the Pro version of visual studio.

We have gone for Visual Studio community 2015 and we are experiencing issues with needing to be logged in so that the trial licence is not tripped off, making lesson time unusable as students are not able to use Visual studio.

Is there a solution which does not require the user to login every time so that its licenced?

    Thanks

  • Hi Justtank,

Thank you for posting in MSDN forum.

If we use the VS Community edition, we just have to sign into our Microsoft account to use it more than 30 days
Once we sign in visual studio 2015 community successfully, we could use it permanently.

Please go to "https://account.microsoft.com/about" and sign up for an account. It's free. When you complete the process, you can sign into Visual Studio using the same email address.

Then please go to Help -> Register Product, and then sign in with your account.

    Best Regards,
