is a virtual SMTP essentially just a Relay..? or something else..?
SMTP virtual server is a default server created when you install Microsoft SMTP Service to handle basic mail delivery functions.
SMTP virtual server automatically configures default settings so that it can accept local client computer connections and process messages.
SMTP virtual server actually means that you can email directly from your computer without having to relay through other websites. But only outward.
