Issues with JQuery RRS feed

    I am having two issues with JQuery:

    1.  Whenever I modify JQuery; I have to go to Internet Settings and delete all history and files for the change to work.

    2.  This web application's calendar control behaves differently on two different machine. One one machine; it all works fine and shows navigation arrows but it won't show navigation arrow on the other computer. There isn't any difference in files or path.

    $("input[id$='txtStartDate']").datepicker({ showButtonPanel: true, showOn: "both", buttonImage: "images/calendar.gif", buttonImageOnly: true });
        $("input[id$='txtEndDate']").datepicker({ showButtonPanel: true, showOn: "both", buttonImage: "images/calendar.gif", buttonImageOnly: true });

    Hi,

    Try accessing your site from browser's incognito mode (Chrome) or private window (Firefox) while in development.

    1) The browser is caching the page.  Press ctrl-F5 and force the browser to refresh the page.

    2) Use developer tools to find any errors on the second machine.  Are the button cached on the first machine and not the second?

    Hi njehan01,

    If caching causes the issue, you could try to append current date/time to references so that every call to the webpage will return a unique cache-buster.

    <script src="/Scripts/jquery-1.10.2.js?<%=DateTime.Now.Ticks %>"></script>

    Best Regards,

    Fei Han
