Databinding in Metro Style Applications RRS feed

  • Question

  • How do I databind in Metro Style Applications?  I have some code for a music player, a class for a single Song and a class for a list of songs.  I was wondering how to bind the class to the xaml and not have to use Visual Basic Code

  • It must have been a bug in the beta because I got it to work without Visual Basic code in the RC.

  • Hi,

the principles of data binding in Windows 8 are the same as in the other XAML-based technologies. For an example have a look at the Windows 8 data binding sample - http://code.msdn.microsoft.com/windowsapps/Data-Binding-7b1d67b5
