First publication - how long and how to update the store logo RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi Microsoft Gurus,

First time uploader here - got an app in the store ... well not quite, it's 'Publishing' and has been for 10 plus hours.  Seen many posts about waiting days.  Compared to iOS most the process was painless, but this wait seems excessive and judging by other posts, it looks like it could be a long haul.

In the meantime, is there any way to update the store icon ?  iOS store allows the icon to be controlled by the application manifest or the store itself.  Is there a portal page somewhere that allows the store icon to be edited while waiting for this app to publish ?

Just wondering, since I compiled the wrong store icon and this is like watching hair grow waiting for this app to publish.

    Thanks

  • Hi ErgoAdmin,

After your app passes certification, it usually takes up to 24 hours for your app to get in the Store. But sometimes it may take several business days.

To change the Store logo, you need to change the Square 150 x 150 logo in package manifest and create a package for new submission. After the new submission passes certification, the Store icon will also be updated.
