Lightswitch - Azure table storage RRS feed

  • Question

  • Is there any intention of directly supporting Azure Table Storage and blobs as a LightSwitch datasource?

  • Yes I would expect a WCF RAI DomainService to work but it would be neater and more integrated if could use the table designer to define the Azure table storage entities and then have SL generate the CRUD services as per other storage types.

  • For Azure realted storage, LightSwitch directly supports SQL Azure only. But, I would think that you could write a WCF RIA DomainService that can interact with Azure table or blob storage and then consume the service in LightSwitch.
