  • Hi Kshitij,

Can't you move your webparts in Modify Shared View page?

Hope I have understood your question correctly!

  • Hi Kshitij,

There isn’t a direct way to move up the custom web part verb.

The verbs that a web part can use are sponsored by the WebPartVerbCollection, which is a property of WebPart. After adding the custom verbs to the Verbs collection, the Web Parts control set automatically handles the other steps necessary to create and render the custom verbs.

If you need to put the custom verb at position 2 after minimize as you said, you may consider hiding the default verbs after minimize.

    Thanks,

  • Hi Kshitij,

    Thanks for posting back.

WebPartVerbCollection object is a collection of custom Web Part verbs.

WebPart class provide properties like AllowEdit, AllowMinimize to get or set a value indicating whether end users can edit/minize a web part control. When AllowEdit=”false”/AllowMinize=”false”, it will hide the edit/minimize verb in web part control’s verbs menu.

For more information about WebPart properties and an example about “how to change the default settings of the AllowMinimize property for a custom Web Parts control”, please refer to:

    Thanks,
